The sun is shining, you can smell summer in the air. Time to wear flip flops? Not per se. How about biker boots? Too winterish? Too warm? Not if you’d ask me… I have found the perfect biker boots. Tough but feminine. Cool, but sophisticated. Edgy, but easy to match. Click through to see what beauties I am talking about here…
I must admit that I don’t always dress weather appropriately. When I feel like wearing a fur, I will wear a fur. And when I feel like wearing a skirt, I will wear a skirt. However, of course, it’s unlikely that I want to catch a cold or be warm all day, so you will not find me in a full on winter look during the summer. But, I do think that some items shouldn’t be attributed to a certain season. Boots are a good example here.
Although boots are ideal during fall/winter, since they keep your feet and part of your leg warm, I think that some boots can definitely be worn during spring and summer as well. Take the biker boots I am wearing in this look as an example. I wore them with black skinny jeans and a crop top on a sunny but chilly day in Copenhagen. No way that you’d hear me complaining about it.
And… I would even wear these boots during an extremely hot day if I were to go to a festival. I can imagine these boots with cut off shorts, a lace top, sunnies, a fringed shirt and would totally have the boho-tough-girl vibe going on.
What do you think? Would you wear boots during the summer or rather leave them up to colder days?
