    Hotel review: Mercure Antwerp City Centre

    When visiting Antwerp, I think of a bubbly city that reminds me of Amsterdam but… with a certain cuteness and as we say in Holland, the soft G. Our southern neighbors have both the elegance of France and the allure of the Dutch and I always love visiting Belgium for both of these reasons. Even better to celebrate New Year’s Eve here, as I saw Antwerp in a lot of top 5 cities to celebrate New Years… Now I know why… Let me tell you all about our stay in Mercure and why it is not just the perfect stay for New Years Eve, but throughout the whole year!

    Sint Maarten; the friendly island, also known as the culinary capital of the Caribbean (and for a good reason, I know now).     A city trip to Spain for me often means Barcelona. In fact, I just came from there. It’s an easy go to destination from Amsterdam and it has everything you want: city & beach. However, this time I was looking for something else, something new. A place like Barcelona: picturesque and authentic, but smaller and still with beautiful must see places. Valencia it was!
