Last week I told you guys about how I created a denim on denim look and could not get enough of that trend. Well, here I am again, the word “guilty” stamped onto my forehead with yet another denim on denim ensemble. This time there are no embroideries involved. Better yet this look is a lot more rough and cool with a touch of sweetness here and there. Just the way I like it…
I think it’s save to say by now that my favorite type of spring coat besides the trench is the denim jacket. It makes for a perfect transition from winter to summer as it can be worn with a thick cardigan underneath and still look amazing. I also love how denim jackets come in so many different flavors! Colored, embellished, embroidered, or… like the one I am wearing here, with a cool quote on the back. “Wild and free” it is, baby.
Combined to ripped jeans the look is almost complete and totally something I would wear on a daily basis. That’s another thing I love about denim: It’s the best casual garment out there. I personally cannot imagine a life without denim. It really is my go-to staple during every season. However, this outfit would not be me if there wasn’t something feminine or romantic going on. I guess that your attention was already drawn to the amazing lace top huh? Yesss… I always need a chique detail like the hem of this top to make up for the sass.
It may not surprise you that the full outfit, from the rebellious denim to the romantic lace, all comes from one shop: Boohoo. Looking at this outfit I kinda feel like
checking obsessively scanning the webshop again for goodies. Cause hey, if they can provide me with denim staples, I am coming back for more!
