What to wear for Valentine’s day? Hmm… Do we agree that it depends on what you are planning for the day and/or night? At least I think that how long you two have been together should not be a concern. Dressing up is the way to go. In this lookbook video I am showing you three outfits from casual to not so casual and I am also giving you three tips…
“He loves me, he loves me not,
At least I am wearing the best that I’ve got…”
To me Valentine’s day has always been weird. Either I had no boyfriend or I had one but he was not available. For example, that time my ex was out of the country (he did send me a card and present) or that time my other ex did not know what to buy me so we just went to the city and he let me choose something. I mean, where is the romance?! Maybe this year my new boyfriend will read this and see it as a hint… Well, let me tell you (*pointing at Reinder*) I like roses, a candle lit bath tub, and a nice dinner for two. Yes, logic will get you there. But what will get us there, ladies? Here I am giving you three tips on what to wear…
1. Heel up!
First of all… What ever you wear, do think of the shoes as well. Wearing simple sneakers to that rendez-vous pour two is just a bummer.
2. A touch of red
From Psychology I know that red can do the thrice for guys. If you wear the right outfit of course he will be thrilled already, but red lipstick or a red detail never hurt no body.
3. Think of what he likes
Just for once, we are not gonna neglect what our boyfriends think of the dungarees, the boyfriend jeans or culottes. You are n o t wearing that on February the 14th. OK? Now is not the time to be on trend. Now is the time to be sexy! Tight jeans, a cute skirt or a dress will do.
Let me know what you think of the looks I created!
