PATCHWORK ON PATCHWORK

You may have read my previous post on how I love the patchwork trend. How about putting two patchwork items together? You’d say it’s too much and I almost would agree, but looking back at these outfit pictures I think that patchwork on patchwork is not so bad at all…

In one of my latest videos I showed you 11 pair of new shoes (WHUT?!) Yes, I am a huge shoe-addict. I know, it’s freaky. But when you like something, why not just go with it? Among these 11 pair is also this brown pair of patchwork boots that is made up of a dark suede, snake leather look and tan leather. Isn’t that a delicious combo?

As if I could not get enough of the patchwork trend I also figured that I needed a patchwork denim skirt. I found the perfect A-line skirt at Pepe Jeans and thought “Why not?! I will just match it to the patchwork boots”. Along came some other brown items (different shades, cause that’s the fun part!) and this outfit was completed.

Now patchwork is fun and all, but I’m even thinking of having this skirt customized in the Pepe Jeans store. With the laser techniques and distress options one could for example have a photo graved into the denim or have it all ripped and cut off. What do you guys think?

And is patchwork on patchwork a whoooo or a booooo?
