While planning this look, I am sitting in my parent’s living room, staring at the rain pouring outside every now and then. But I know that when this post will be published, I’ll be in a much warmer place. And looking at this outfit, it’s easy to get in the mood for that…

This high summer look was created so easily, I don’t even know what to write about it. When I saw these pants hanging in the New Yorker showroom, I knew I had to have it. And I was very glad that they had it in both black and salmon. The black one is very chique and sophisticated and the salmon one is elegant and fresh.

I paired it with this colorful top which I also found in the New Yorker showroom. Back when I picked them, I didn’t even know they would look so cute together. And I think it’s funny how this outfit didn’t need any accessories but the sunglasses to make such a graceful look. Ok, maybe the background is doing a great job here as well…

Now there is one small disadvantage to these palazzo pants: the wide leg isn’t very easy during a bike ride. Unfortunately, the legs got stuk between the chain of my bike and I almost had to cut off a piece. Lucky me, Mohamed helped me out (right in front of a full terrace) and with less grace, but just as graceful pants I was good to go further…

Besides that, I think is a pure must have and I cannot wait to show you the black one. I am taking/ I took that one with me on my trip, so you may see it come by on instagram anytime soon. Make sure you follow me over there: @larissabruin !

Curious about your thoughts…
