“Crazy times”, they say, “life’s changing”, they say. And so it is. During the past few weeks I have had so much time to myself that I have come to new ideas… I am now in a process where it’s all about “out with the old” and “in with the new”. So I am skipping old plans, making new ones. Same way I am cleaning out my house, throwing away old stuff and cleaning my interior to start life anew. It feels refreshing and I must say that with the way I do it, it’s also super fun.
Is it summer yet? Hmm, it feels like w’ere still stuck in March although it is already May. But I guess it’s what’s happening in the world right now that makes me feel like nothing new has happened. However, so much has actually happened. The longer this social distance takes, the more I talk about all this with friends and the more I hear people saying how not only their lives but also their mindsets have changed. Oh… and that’s for the better! For me too, a lot of things are changing and how happy am I that summer is around the corner. So, it’s finally time to wheel in some season-proof clothing. Uhhuh! These are the spring/summer must haves that you cannot go without…
Pristine white sands & breathtakingly blue waters: the beaches of the Dominican Republic had me in awe. I have been longing back to this beautiful country ever since I set foot back on Dutch land. But it’s not only the beautiful beaches that made an impression. Colorful colonial houses, bits of street art, the most delicious soul food & sweet Dominican people made this press trip with Go Dom Rep into a travel experience never to forget. In this blogpost I am telling you everything about the many treasures that the Dominican Republic holds. Oh, and all of these places are 100% instagrammable!
Where to go? No where. What to do? The same as yesterday, probably. I guess that after three weeks of quarantine most of us are getting bored now. And that sounds a little insulting, cause with what’s happening in the world at the moment, boredom seems to be our last problem. However, let’s admit that at the beginning of all this, it was ok. Staying at home seemed like a mini break from work and in week 2 we may even have realized that this is the perfect time to work on ourselves. By week 3 however, and knowing that this will take a while longer, we might be done with all this. So how to spice up you life and quarantine wardrobe? I’m giving you the tips!
