Crop tops & maxi cardigans. Urban backdrops and fairytale attributes. Could I capture more fabulosity in one photo? (And could I add more cockiness to one sentence…?) However, I will need that attitude to wear this look with sass and I may have needed a little more of an attitude to conquer the wind, cause this shoot ended hilariously…
Did you see me wearing a hat in the second and last photo? Yes, it was there when we started shooting this look. However, we were shooting next to the water, where the wind was kinda strong… and before I knew it, the wind took away my hat. AAAH. Not my new hat! I had just bought that one :-(. I ran after it, but it ended up in the canal and then what was I to do? Jump in the water and safe it? It wasn’t Chanel, so we finished shooting without the hat. And I am very glad with how the photos turned out without the hat in the end. There are also some pics of me falling on the ground while I was trying to pose on my knees. I guess this wind was coming from the sea. Cause damn, it was stormy.
This look is made up of two of my favorite styles: a crop top and a maxi cardigan. I bought this top last year and never really had the chance to theme it up with the right pieces. But then I found this maxi denim cardigan at House of Jam, which also functions as a dress and I just knew that it would work. I must say that this denim piece is quite amazing. It consists of light and dark grey denim, so it’s totally in line with today’s denim trends: denim on denim, patchwork, contrast double denim. Va va voom.
These platform boots were the finishing touch to what I call an outstanding ensemble. Altogether this look is also complimented by the colorful, authentic background. Let me know what you think of this outfit, and make sure you check out House of Jam for more amazing denim pieces like mine.
