If you follow me on instagram (@larissabruin) you may have noticed that
I just came back from Marrakech and from that hype, I jumped
into another one: Amsterdam Fashion Week. Thursday, I went to the
opening night and attended Zero by Nanine Linning with costumes by Iris van Herpen.
I’ve always wanted to see her show, for I had heard so much about her
sculptural and 3D designs. A full report in Dutch can be found on My Black Hair.nl (click here).
After that impressive show I stopped by at the Zalando blogger awards, which seemed to
be a great party in itself as well.
Yesterday, I went to Lichting (supported by V&D, see photos), which means much as “The New Class”:
It showcases upcoming designers, who just graduated from Fashion School
and are about to take over the fashion scene.
I find this a very cool initiative, and I really loved the show, for
it’s diversity. I really admire the creativity of rookies.
Today and the next two days I will be attending some more shows. So stay tuned!
