LONDON FASHION WEEK: MONO SETS THE TONE

For my third London Fashion Week look I turned to one of the safest, but trendiest trends of all: black and white. I even let this trend come back in my accessories. Too much? Nahh, not for fashion week!

The greatest difficulty of fashion week is dressing weather accordingly. Especially, when you are planning ahead and don’t know whether or not it will rain. Also, the fashion weeks are planned during the transition from summer to fall, so there is no clear point of view regarding shorts, tights, dresses, bare legs and all that kinda stuff. That’s why a midi skirt or culottes are safe and so are a blazer and a thin jacket.

In this look I am wearing a midi skater skirt with a think jacket. The nice part about this jacket is that it is mesh, so it’s not to warm on itself. I chose to wear a turtleneck underneath, but if the weather would’ve been anything different I could’ve also gone with a crop top.

The heels are new. I got them at Steve Madden. There will be a new look online soon in which I can show you the heels in more detail. They look like simple black strappy heels, but oh how are they fierce! The bag is also from Steve Madden and adds up to the black and white vibe. So does my Wildfox sunnies.

I’ve been photographed a lot in this look, so you might find it across the web and maybe even in some magazines. If so, please let me know! Meanwhile, let me know what you think of this ensemble…
